Bring it on!!!

Johan is ecstatic and nervous tonight because the container arrives tomorrow so he can load it up with all our goodies. I am definitely going to try to be there for the loading of the fall container. Poor Johan has to deal with all of the details, which are not easy. He has to prepare all the treasures to be ready for loading: selecting, crating delicate items, wrapping, etc. We have to use every nook and cranny of space to make it worth our while since it is quite expensive to bring a large container from Europe. But even before that, he has to prepare all the paperwork and documentation with details for shippers, brokers, customs, etc

For those of you who think we have a dream job, it's true most of the time, but there are little
nightmares in between. Smile! It takes months of searching for items, cleaning, fixing, painting, etc.
Then it takes 3 to 4 days to load it all up in a safe and sensible way.

Thank you Johan for all your hard work on that side on the Atlantic. Be safe as you load up
and we look forward to having you here soon when the container arrives on our shores.
Big hugs from us and I am sure from all our friends who read this.

And to those of you who are reading this, take a stroll through our web site here
for a preview of some of the beauties that will be loaded up tomorrow.

Trino

From someone who has loaded and unloaded a container before I know the work involved and it isn't always fun. But now I'm on the other side of things and I get to enjoy this more. Work swiftly and be safe Johan as we're all looking forward to your found treasures!

Anyone who has owned a shop will attest that by the time something ends up on the selling floor, it has already been slaved over a few times. The reward is the client who gushes 'I must have this'..... it's like hearing Angels sing.

In the midst of the hard work, enjoy the choir of the Angels.

HANDS DOWN you guys have the BEST taste!!! I'm dying to come to one of your shows - hopefully sometime in the near future! Thanks for all your hard work and vision... if it wasn't for people like you, no one would have gorgeous treasures in their home!

Best wishes,
Desiree

The hard, honest work that you guys do is so evident in the beautiful treasures that you offer in your shop, Trino. Believe me, if I lived on that side of the country, I'd be there in a heartbeat to scoop some of them up (after I helped you unload them, of course. lol! :)

I have already looked at each and every photo that you have on your site of the treasures that Johan is loading. Good luck to him. Though it is arduous I am sure you guys know that it is worth it when you see the faces of everyone running into the container sale.

Hi Trino,
Oh how I wish I could be there. I live in Canada and hope someday to get to one of your sales. Everything you source is my style. A trip to California would cost a lot less than a trip to Europe. Can;t wait to see what you are bringing back.

Dear Trinidad,
I am so sorry I didn't stop to love you but I promised my hubby that I would race around and take some photos for the blog super fast and get back home. I was on a mission. It's been ages since I've been there and of course I saw you and Martin and you both looked wonderful as usual so I left content that my boys were well and flew back home!!
I waited a bit for you but you were engaged as usual and I didn't want to interrupt!!!
All my love,
Terri

Nice post. I learn something more challenging on different blogs everyday. It will always be stimulating to read content from other writers and practice a little something from their store. I’d prefer to use some with the content on my blog whether you don’t mind. Natually I’ll give you a link on your web blog. Thanks for sharing. Health Family
